Since our launch, one of UNPARALLELED BEAUTY’s ongoing commitments has been to donate a portion of our product sales to local charities and organizations which have a mandate to serve under-represented, marginalized & racialized communities in Canada.

We are proud to announce that we’ve made our first donation to the National Council of Canadian Muslims. @nccm_community is an independent, non-partisan and non-profit organization that protects Canadian human rights and civil liberties, challenges discrimination and Islamophobia, builds mutual understanding, and advocates for the public concerns of Canadian Muslims.

More Muslims have been killed in targeted hate-attacks in Canada than any other G-7 country in the past 5 years because of Islamophobia.

The @nccm_community has testified before several parliamentary committees on important legislations, and most recently publicly challenged Bill 21. Their tireless efforts have prompted the recent appointment of a Special Representative on Islamophobia by the federal government. 

Despite this win, there’s much more work to be done to protect the constitutional rights of Canadian Muslims, thereby upholding the rights of all Canadians. 

As Martin Luther King once said, “injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.”

As we head into 2022, let’s continue to stand firmly against discrimination, racism & hatred and fight for social justice.
